My extensive experience in the costume industry continues to build and support my knowledge in sewing and pattern cutting. As I continue to be making alongside teaching every week, my approach is fresh relevant and flexible.
Students from beginners to experienced can feel supported to complete their projects and to build on their skill set, learning transferable pattern cutting and sewing skills.
I work 1:1 going around the class individually and also through group demonstrations.
Bring your own project
Beginners sewing sampling; This includes a selection of seam sampling and construction techniques with easy to follow hand outs. The course is a great way to builds up a wide range of skills to support your sewing abilities and confidence.
Workshop days on themed subjects such as; Using your overlocker/ working with stretch fabric and Draping on the stand. *Look out for dates for when they are held announced on this website!
The draft drape & make sewing room has a range of equipment to make your project easier alongside haberdashery, pattern drafting tools and reference materials all for the use of the students.
